APPR Involvement

Algarve Regional Tourism Board (RTA) - APPR is the 1st Secretary of the Board of the Algarve Regional Tourism Board.

Algarve Tourism Bureau (ATA) - Member of the ATA's Marketing Council.

Portugal Náutico - Is part of the Portugal Náutico Dynamising Group and cooperates with the other signatory entities in creating and developing the proposals and projects presented in the Portugal Náutico study.

Portugal 2020 - A protocol has been signed with Turismo de Portugal which aims to stimulate, monitor and promote the joint and cooperative design and implementation of the Turismo 2020 initiative: Action Plan for the Development of Tourism in Portugal 2014-2020.

Blue Flag Program - Member of the Portuguese Jury for the Blue Flag for Recreational Harbours and Marinas.

International Standardization Organization (ISO) - Coordinating body for the ISO CT 144 project, appointed by Turismo de Portugal. Within the scope of this international ISO project, various standards have been developed in the recreational boating sector, such as ISO-TC228 ISSO CD N0174 "Essential Requirements for Luxury Harbours".

IMG (ICOMIA Marinas Group), BMF, TYHA. APPR continues to be part of and actively participate in international organisations, always with the aim of promoting national ports, fostering international relations, exchanging experiences and trying to influence decision-makers in order to protect members' interests.

World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) – In 2013, joined, as association, the Glob Code of Ethics for Tourism of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
