APPR hosted the World Marinas Conference 2023-10-23 ICOMIA World Marinas Conference - Big Challenges - Big Decisions Portuguese Association of Ports and Marinas (APPR) organised the prestigious International Council of Marine Industry (ICOMIA) World Marinas Conference from 9 to 11 October 2023, which was based in Vilamoura Marina, in the centre of the Algarve. To access the image gallery click here. Portugal hosted the event for the first time, winning the competition that included candidates from Europe and the United States. Founded in 1991, the APPR brings together Portugal's marinas and marina facilities. Portugal is a country with strong nautical traditions, and therefore the perfect place to host this conference, which was a unique opportunity to showcase our country to all the participants, especially the Algarve region.
